Frankenweenie is an IMAX 3D black and white stop motion film made in 2012 and is a remake of the short film from 1984 which was also directed by Tim Burton. Frankenweenie contains elements from the genres of comedy, horror and science fiction and talks about the novel Frankenstein. The film was produced by the Walt Disney Company and marketed by its subsidiary Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.Frankenweenie released on 20 September 2012. In the cinemas of the United States, the film released in 5 October 2012. In Europe, it was released in 24 January 2013.
